The Pharr Tennis Center is scheduled for a major renovation this year, with $4 million dollars allocated from the 2018 PARD bond. Construction is anticipated to begin in mid 2021. The project includes a new piece of art for the tennis center, and Art in Public Places has selected the team Rakhee Jain and Melissa Knight to create one. They are working on a design and will be organizing community meetings this spring to gather feedback. We will share info when we receive it.
