The Patterson Park Community Garden is located on the east side of Patterson Park, south of the tennis center and just east of the skate spot. Over the last year, members have installed fencing, tool shed, pergola, water lines, and begun work on garden beds. They are now recruiting new garden members for 2017. The Patterson Park Community Garden was first proposed in 2012. It was created with the support of the Austin Parks and Recreation Department, Austin Parks Foundation, Coalition of Austin Community Gardens, Sustainable Food Center, Grow Green, Friends of Patterson Park, and the adjacent neighborhood associations.
