- The $4M renovation of the Pharr Tennis Center has begun! The northeast section of the park has been fenced off and crews have been busy doing demo. Looking forward to the new tennis center and public art project by Rakhee Jain Desai and Melissa Knight.
- The second phase of the Neighborhood Partnering Program grant we first submitted in fall 2019 has begun installation. The project includes youth basketball hoops, new benches and limestone seating behind the baseball backstop, and replacements for the last of the cement “trash coffins.” (The first phase was the new baseball backstop.) The last part of the project is the shade structure over the basketball court, and this is still being designed and has a ways to go before becoming a reality.
- The fall growing season is here! Email the Patterson Park Community Garden at info@pattersonparkcommunitygarden.com for information about how to join or visit their website.
