The Flamingo Mitote mosaic decorates the walls of a City of Austin swimming pool equipment shed at Patterson Park. It was created by Stephanie Distefano in 2012 with funding from the Neighborhood Partnering Program and Austin Parks Foundation. The Chula League provides an annual maintenance fund. Materials are recycled mirrors and tiles hand-made by the artist and community members.
