Amplify Austin Day is March 6–7

Amplify Austin starts next week! This is Central Texas’ biggest community giving event. Friends of Patterson Park’s goal is to raise $5,000 to fund community events and park improvements that benefit ALL park users.

Last year, Friends of Patterson Park:

• Hosted 10 community events, including the inaugural Pattersonpalooza.
• Spread 40 yards of mulch at two It’s My Park Days volunteer work days.
• Completed the installation of our 134K Neighborhood Partnering Program grant, which included
  • a new shade structure over the basketball court
  • new backboards and youth baskets
  • limestone seating and benches
  • trash and recycling receptacles.
• Collaborated with the Parks and Recreation Dept., Patterson Park Community Garden, Cap City Cobras, Rippner Tennis, Austin Parks Foundation & others.

We’re grateful for the support of the neighborhood businesses and organizations sponsoring our Amplify campaign: Nature’s Treasures, Franklink Barbecue, Jade Construction, Mueller Foundation, and Rippner Tennis.

We are also thankful for the support of Austin Parks Foundation, which will match donations up to $3,500 dollar for dollar and make your gift stretch even further!
