Friends of Patterson Park welcomes our community to celebrate trees and pollinators, play baseball and tennis games, and join a marching band parade. Come in costume and explore everything that Patterson Park has to offer!

🦋 Patterson Park Community Garden Fall Festival: a Roots & Wings Festival event
* beekeeping demonstration * puppet show * pumpkin patch * pollinator plant giveaway * music by Javier Jara * free butterfly wings and Jim Jim’s snow cones * ask-me-anything with an arborist * so much more! 

⚾️ Field Day with the Cap City Cobra sandlot baseball team at the baseball field. Come have a catch and participate in some family-friendly baseball activities with your home team!

🎾 Open House at the newly re-opened Pharr Tennis Center
* tennis games for kids * meet the artists and hear the story behind the new installation Harmonic Strings  * check out the Pharr rain garden designed by Studio Balcones and learn how to create your own * free Texas wildflower seeds.

🎷 Parade around the park led by brass band Blowcomotion
Bring your costume and join the fun! The band will start playing at 11 at the community garden. 

🍧 Free snow cones, empanadas, coffee and bagels
