Our neighborhood park is getting a major makeover this week, and we want to celebrate! There were new picnic tables installed at the main pavilion last Friday, and this week PARD is rebuilding the small pavilion by the basketball court, and installing new tables and trash cans both there and at the community garden. That’s a lot of updates for our beloved park, and we are enormously grateful to the Austin Parks and Recreation Department and Austin Parks Foundation for all they’ve done. Meet us at the pavilion for ice cream on Thursday, March 2, 4:30-6:30 p.m. to celebrate!
We’ll also be kicking off our Amplify Patterson Park campaign on Thursday, since Amplify Austin starts at 6 p.m. We have big plans for 2017 and hope you’ll help us make them a reality! Read more about it and schedule your donation now!
